The English textbook “Power On” (Tokyo Shoseki) for first-year high school students introduces our banana paper and Zambia. Chapter 5 is all about banana paper. This textbook was revised in April 2017. We hope that this will be a wonderful opportunity for high school students to learn in English about banana paper’s consideration for people and the environment, collaboration between Africa and Japan companies, the contribution of Japan washi technology, and the social value created by banana paper.
